VEGETABLE SEED GERMINATION WORKSHOP
This is part 2 of our 4-part veggie garden series (although you can sign up for individual classes) that will take you through the process of germinating your own veggie seed. Growing from seed allows you to grow a much wider diversity of varieties than is typically available as transplants, and Yew Dell Garden Manager Ann Mattingly will teach you the tricks of the trade for getting it done right. You’ll review seed types, germination requirements and materials – and you’ll take home some to germinate and grow at home.
